Knitted tablet protector

Let me show you what I am working on right now. Im knitting a tablet sleeve for my ipad. It looks so cute. I can't wait to finish it. It's a free pattern from Lion Brand. Since I'm using many colours, I can't take it with me when I go out, it's too bulky.

I finally finished the back.

I am now working on the front

Reversible quilt

I decided to update my blog a little while I am on vacation. Im curently in Cambodia. The rain is keeping me from doing my activities. I might as well use my free time!
I recently learn a new quilting technique. I am now able to quilt a reversible quilt. I learnt this technique in local quilt shop called Courtepointe Claire. They offer many interesting classes and workshops. Here are my 2 table runners using that technique.

Lennox's quilt

Lennox is my nephew. I'm making a quilt for him. He loves Flash Mcqueen, so I hope he is going to like this quilt. I started back in April. I finished the backing recently. I sent it to be quilted. Here is a sneek peek.

I will show you the final product soon!

My third quilt

This quilt was inspired by Missouri star quilt co tutorial. I believe it's called: I Spy Jars. I was able to use cute fabrics for that quilt. It was a lot of fun. I still have to do the binding on it. You probably guessed that I didn't quilt it myself! Here are some pictures

Dylan's quilt

Here is the second quilt I made. It's for a baby boy named Dylan. I used fleece for the backing. I also had it quilted for me. I know, I'm lazy. It's a small quilt, but I'm not experienced in free motion quilting. I can stitch in the ditch or quilt straight lines and curves, but I can't make hearts yet. I decided to do the binding with my machine, but I'm disappointed with the result. I will start over and do it by hand. I added some labels to it.

My first quilt

My first quilt is almost done. I just have to do the binding. I started this log cabin quilt back in January. I made it for my mom. I manage to finish the top and backing in April. I had it quilted by someone else. The throat space in my sewing machine is too small. It's worth it, she does a good job.  Here are some pictures. The colours on the first picture, are the real colours. On the second picture, the colours are washed out.

Before the quiting:

After Lucie quilted it for me:

My mother will be really happy.
